Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University, also known as CSMU, was established in 2018 as a private university in Mumbai, Maharashtra. CSMU admissions are based on the CSMU Entrance Examination (CSMUEE) at the university campus. For CSMU Mumbai admissions, candidates must have 50% aggregate marks in UG courses in Class 12 or equivalent exams. Additionally, JEE, state-level entrance exams, and NATA scores are required for engineering and architecture, along with higher secondary certification. PG courses at CSMU, Navi Mumbai, require a bachelor's degree in a relevant stream. MBA students must have a qualifying score in CAT/MAT/GMAT/GRE/NMAT/CMAT. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University Application Process 2023
Candidates can learn more about the admissions process on the official website of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University. By checking in to the admission microsite, candidates may keep track of the status of their application forms. Once approved, Candidates are invited to participate in the selection process, including an entrance exam, a group discussion, or a personal interview. If a candidate is selected, they will receive a digital admission letter that must be submitted to the college.
Step 1: Registration
Students who are interested in enrolling should click the 'Apply Now' button. Complete the online registration form and pay the required fee at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University counter using NEFT/PAYTM/credit/debit card/cash.
Step 2: Admissions method
The CSMU Entrance Examination (CSMUEE) will be held for admission to technical and professional programs at the university (see list of programmes). Those who have passed a state/central government-sponsored competitive test (JEE/MHCET/CAT/NATA/CLAT, etc.) are exempt from the CSMUEE. Admissions to other programmes are dependent on the results of a qualifying examination or a personal interview.

- Students with a minimum 70 percent aggregate in class 12th from CBSE/ISC/State Boards are eligible for a 25% scholarships
MBA scholarship
- Students with a minimum CAT/MAT score of 90 percentile or a GMAT score of 650 will be offered a full scholarship.
- Students with a minimum 85 percentile in CAT/MAT or a minimum GMAT score of 600 will be eligible for a 50% scholarship.
- Students with a minimum 75 percentile in CAT/MAT or a minimum GMAT score of 450 are eligible for a 25% scholarship.
PG (Non-MBA) scholarship
- Students with a minimum of 93 percent aggregate in Class 12 of CBSE/ISC/State Boards and 80% in Graduation are eligible for a full scholarship.
- Students with a minimum of 88 percent aggregate in Class 12 of CBSE/ISC/State Boards and 75% in Graduation are eligible for a 50% scholarship.
